It's snowing out. Kara liked watching it from the window. I took her out on the porch. She didn't care for the cold and wetness hitting her skin. Although, it was cute watching her hold her arm out like I did.
I can't wait for to experience the snow tomorrow.
I had my first bowl of snowcream. I have been tasting it since I heard snow in our forecast. Since this is our second snow of the season it was safe for me to eat. I just had to have my first bowl without sharing. Yes, I am selfish like that.

My little monkey
Kara is becoming quite the character. She is constantly making me laugh.
One of today's many laughters come from her playing dress up. Most days, I find her walking around with one of my shirts on or pants wrapped around her neck. But today, I walk in her room finding her trying to put on a pair of shorts. They are her shorts, but they are a size too small. I helped her pull them up over her pants. They are so tight on her she could barely walk.

Kara~17 Months
Kara you are now 17 months old. Who can believe that next month you will be 1.5 years old.
You have been walking since Dec 20th. I just forgot to post a 16 month update.
You experienced your first snow. Although, you weren't walking yet, you still enjoyed the white stuff on the ground.
You recently discovered TV. Your favorite are Curious George, Yo Gabba Gabba, Wonder Pets, and Moose A. Moose. Those programs come on you stop what you are doing and squeal with delight. When music plays you stand with your back to the TV and try to mimic their moves.
You like eating on your own now. You get mad when I try to help you feed yourself. You love ketchup and won't eat unless I put some on your plate to dip your food in.
You love going to church and playing with your friends. You especially love it when the bigger kids play with you during chior practice. You have a few special adults who you adore and vice versa. I am glad I was able to find a place we both enjoy to worship.
You wear sizes 12, 18 and 24 months clothing. It all depends on the brand of clothing. You wear a size 4 in dress shoes and 5 in tennis shoes.
You are becoming your own little person and I look forward to the next months watching you grow and learn.
I love you, Kara!

Missing an item? Check the microwave.
The microwave on the play kitchen of course. Kara loves to hide things. I have found pieces of my nativity set in a box. Today's treasure was my armband for my iPod I found the microwave.
