Bittersweet

This afternoon, my mom took Kara home with her after church. I decided to make the most of my free time and go through Kara's closet.

The items found brought up memories of a love gone away. The box contained a balloon, card and letter. All three a symbol of love. The balloon and card was given to me the day after I gave birth to Kara. It declared how beautiful our child was and how happy he was to have the both of us in his life. The letter was written three months before Kara. It also showed proof of our love and how happy he was to have two special ladies in his life and also Lil Bit (we didn't know the sex yet).

Things were said a few weeks ago that contradicted the above. I know they are lies. I have written and physical proof of love.

Now, going through the boxes bought back the happy times of Kara's firsts. I am looking forward to watching Kara go and making more memory boxes.

Kara's outfit

Kara's imagination is amazing me. She draws circles with huge points and says she is drawing her cat with a big nose. Today's outfit was a milder version on what she usually wants to wear.

She wanted my hospital socks instead of pants and she just had to wear her Dora pj shirt.
